On the thirteenth day of Dhaka Women’s Premier Division Cricket League, Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP) and Sk. Rasel Sports Development Academy registered convincing wins over BD Ansar & VDA Cricket Team and Gulshan Youth Club respectively.

Match 1: Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan vs BD Ansar & VDA Cricket Team
Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan won the toss and elected to bat first. Both the openers Farzana Akter Lisa and Murshida Khatun Happy got off to a flying start, adding 108 runs in 28.5 overs before Lily Rani Biswas picked up her first wicket. Murshida Khatun fell for 46 while Farzana Akter too fell very soon for 51. Apart from them, Sovana Mostary scored 28 off 33. However, other batters were not able to reach the double-digit, courtesy Lily Rani Biswas’ 5 wicket-haul for 22 runs and Panna Ghosh’s 3 wicket-haul. They managed to put up 169 on board.
Chasing the total, both the openers Aysha and Reshma Akter fell very cheaply. Middle orders too failed to contribute much. Shova Khanom scored 18 off 56 and Lily Rani Biswas scored 15 off 33. Disciplined bowling from the bowlers restricted them within 98 in 39 overs. Sanzida Akter Maghla bagged 3 wickets, Jannatul Ferdous Sumona and Sanjida Jannat Shanu took 2 each for BKSP. Lily Rani Biswas was awarded the ‘Player of the match’ for her 5-wicket-haul.
Match 2: Gulshan Youth Club vs Sk. Rasel Sports Development Academy
Sk. Rasel Sports Development Academy won the toss and elected to field first. Priyanka Malik and Nasima Akter fell very cheaply. Tomalika scored 32 and Jinnatun Nesa scored 13 while other batters failed to contribute as Nahida Akter bagged a 5-wicket haul and Khadijatul Kubra took 3 wickets and bundled their opponent within 76 on board.
While chasing the total, the openers of Sk. Rasel Sports Development Academy, Saee Purandare and Shaila Sharmeen got off to a flying start. Saee Purandare scored 18* off 40 while Shaila Sharmeen smashed 57* off 47, including 10 boundaries and a six. They took 14.2 overs to reach the target. Nahida Akter awarded the ‘Player of the match’ for her 5-wicket haul.
