Ravi Shastri sleeps through Indian bowlers’ mauling of the Proteas !!!

Relaxed Head coach caught dozing off as Indian fast bowlers run riot

It was an absolute relaxed atmosphere on the 3rd day of 3rd test at Ranchi as Indian bowlers set about demolishing a hapless South Arican batting lineup with the visitors showing no spine to put up any fight and looked a little better than  a lower ranked club side.  The gripping contest  that is aught to  be associated between two high profile cricket teams was not present. Hence with atmosphere absolutely relaxed and with a whitewash beckoning,  the Indian head coach and former succesful test cricketer Ravi Shastri ,who gets an annual compensation of 10 crores for being the high profile head coach of India, was caught taking a nap in his seat in the dressing room !! It was a most unacceptable scenario ,as in the middle of the match going on in full swing ,the coach was caught dozing off. The coaching staff are supposed to be observing how the team is functioning as also noting down important points for later discussions in team meetings. A batsman after a long innings or a bowler after a tough spell is definitely allowed to take a long nap but coaches and support staffs are to be observant at all times . The social media went absolutely berserk as soon as images of the head coach in a slumber got leaked and memes were floating around.  This was definitely a very poor reflection on the image of the Indian team while it is doing so well in test cricket in last 3 months ,though it must be said that opposition had been pretty poor or rather played poorly  in last 5 tests.

Should be a nice oppurtunity for the newly selected BCCI head to have a quiet and tactful word with the head coach, specially since there has been a bit of history between the two.
